Component wiring II: In this example, a more complex inter-component wiring is depicted. Although you may still use the small red-arrow button to establish or view the connections between Plugs, you may use the Plug-Editor (through the Tools->Plug Editor menu) to get the whole picture of Plugs' configuration in a more convenient way.
Specifically the following connections have been established:
Plug "World->Map (View1)" of component "World" is connected to plug "MapViewer->Browse a Map" of the MapViewer.
Plug "DataBase->Countries->Current record of Countries->Name" of component "World" is connected to plug "Title" of component "TextField"
Plug "DataBase->Countries->Current record of Countries->Population" of component "World" is connected to plug "Value" of component "Slider".
As a result of these connections, whenever a country is highlighted (clicked) on the map, its name appears within the TextField and its population is shown as a vertical Slider reading.
You may try here to:
Connect some other text field of the Countries or Cities tables to the TextField component (in parallel to its current connection), or some other numeric field of these tables to the Slider.
Create a (new) Database Editor component, and then connect the "Database" plug of the "World" component to the corresponding plug of the Database Editor component.
